- Provide 3 pictures that relate to your reading. Write about how each one is related to the book you are reading.

   
          This picture relates to Stay because David (main character) had an Escalade. Whenever the author would mention anything about the Escalade, he wouldn't just say "car", he would say "Escalade". I think that the author did that to show that the Escalade symbolized something more than just a car. I think that it symbolized a stay at home dad. I think that because usually a mini-van would symbolize a stay at home mom, therefore the Escalade would symbolize a stay at home dad.




          This picture relates to Stay because it is what the bad guys in the story were after. David's wife, Amy, had the flash drive with her when she brought home evidence from the DA's office. The flash drive caused the break in at David's house, which led to the problem with Dante Payne( the antagonist). David asked a friend to hack the flash drive and figure out what was in it. The flash drive contained all the files of the bad people that Payne helped to disappear from the government.

          This picture relates to Stay because David was in the army before they sent him home on a temporarily leave. David being in the army is crucial in this story because without all of his prior knowledge, I don't think he would be able to do all of the things he did to protect his family. Being in the army gave him fighting skills, weapon skills, and the ability to control himself in a bought situation. It also allowed him to meet other skilled people that helped him accomplish his goal in the story.
